    Transaction Screening Report

    Hello,

    I completed my site visit and got filled in Transaction screening questionnaire as part of Transaction Screening Report that need to be submitted by our company.

    I am wondering how to write a report. Unfortunately our company did not have any prior Transcation Reports to follow the format. Even I could not find any sample reports online.

    If any of you guys have sample ASTM E 1528-06 Transaction Screening Report, Please provide me masking the confidential information.

      Hey there, I wanted to get you a response ASAP so I asked around in some of my other networks and got this answer for you:

       

      Paul Sonnenfeld (Regional Safety Director at RailWorks Track Systems) said:


      E1528-06 is used strictly as a screening tool (go/no go) decision. It does NOT meet ANY of the All Appropriate Inquiry requirements for CERCLA liability protection (40 CFR 312). 
      Accordingly, your "report" consists of one or two paragraphs in which you note any records on which the property is listed and any RECs noted from the database search or your site visit. 

      Your client will then decide whether or not he/she should move forward with the transaction. At least from a professional liability standpoint, your exposure is limited.
