    This thread has been started for any commentary on BEPA a standard currently in the balloting process to formalize the procedure for collecting, normalizing and reporting on a property's energy use.

      It will be interesting to see this Standard come together and begin to grow and evolve.  In my panel presentation at EBA in San Diego back in January I tried to stress the point that those of us working in the energy world are at a cusp like those working in the ESA world circa 1993.  The industry is relatively new, there is a great deal of differentiation between how consultants are treating energy issues, and we don't have the Standardization that the ESA world now enjoys.  The ASTM BEPA Standard coming to fruition marks the beginning of a new era for those of us in the energy consulting world.
