JOB DESCRIPTION                                         

We are currently seeking a Staff-Level to Mid-Level Environmental Scientist with 1-4 years experience for our Laurel, Maryland office.  Primary responsibilities will include field work, research, interviews, and writing of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).  Candidates should be prepared for professional growth into such areas as Phase II ESAs, regulatory interaction, Brownfields redevelopment, vapor intrusion, site remediation, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Evaluations, asbestos/lead based paint surveys, and project management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS                                     

Successful candidates MUST have:

• BS Degree in environmental science/geology/engineering or related field
• Phase I ESA experience
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Familiarity with NEPA, ACM, and LBP evaluations desirable
• Soil/groundwater sampling and other Phase II ESA experience a plus
