    It will be interesting to see this Standard come together and begin to grow and evolve.  In my panel presentation at EBA in San Diego back in January I tried to stress the point that those of us working in the energy world are at a cusp like those working in the ESA world circa 1993.  The industry is relatively new, there is a great deal of differentiation between how consultants are treating energy issues, and we don't have the Standardization that the ESA world now enjoys.  The ASTM BEPA Standard coming to fruition marks the beginning of a new era for those of us in the energy consulting world.

    That's gotta be a first.  I've never heard of anything like that before.  I love how a citizens group is challenging the efficiency characteristics and overal performance of the entire school.  I've been through the wringer on 9 LEED documentation projects and the scrutinize the energy calulations far more than anything else.  I doubt they're going to get anywhere with that complaint.
